Visiting as part of a group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Groups staying at La Bassa Mar can expect, full access to the space and equipment. The space will be clean and furnished, but all visitors will be required to do their own shopping, cooking and cleaning. We can also offer you a catering service. Please let us know in advance if you would like to request this as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As La Bassa Mar is a collective, Do-It-Together space, we ask that you treat it with the same care and love that we do, and try and leave it in the same condition (or better!) that you found it. If you are unable to clean after your stay, please let us know in advance, so we can make the appropriate arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting as an individual<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Individuals coming to stay here should likewise expect to shop, cook and clean as one would in a shared home. Though the house is big enough to allow you plenty of alone-time, if desired, there will likely be other individuals or small groups staying at La Bassa Mar at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community care<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We kindly ask everyone to be kind and respectful toward one another and the space. In case of conflicts that might appear, we can offer limited mediation but cannot guarantee that everyone\u2019s needs can be fully met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this is a trans* and BIPoC-centered gathering space, we cannot ensure the complete absence of harmful behavior. Our intention is to nurture a community where each person takes care of themselves and of one another, while recognizing that the care we can extend has its limits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that there is no counseling, therapy, or medical team on site (unless previously arranged), and we are not equipped to adequately support people in crisis or with acute conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The house is located approximately a 25\u201335 minute walk from the village center, which may pose barriers to accessing urgent care. Those who are in crisis or have ongoing physical or mental health needs are encouraged to plan accordingly and arrive with the necessary support and resources to ensure their well-being. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although we have a lot of space, sound travels fairly easily. So out of respect for our neighbours and the surrounding environment, we do not host parties, concerts, or any other loud events. La Bassa Mar is not a sober space, but as we host people with a diversity of needs regarding this topic, everything regarding consumption should be discussed and agreed upon by consensus with the group sharing the space of a gathering at La Bassa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
